SLEEP & WEIGHT ARE LINKED
In recent research published by scientists
at Standford and Wisconsin Universities, a definite link between
the amount of sleep you get and your appetite has been found.
People who get 8 hours sleep (the amount that we recommend
on the 'Calm Sessions') have a significantly lower appetite
and lower body mass than those who get 5 or 6 hours.

article on the Public Library of Science.
Yet another reason for making sure you
get a good night's sleep!

THOUGHTS FROM ICEANDLEMON
"True calm is a not an elusive place,
or an absense of stress; it is a state of mind that pervades
and underpins every moment of life, providing a viewpoint
from which all experiences can be seen, not for what we wish
they were or fear them to be, but as they truly are."
[Steve Wooding]

the 'Calm' sessions are in no way affiliated or connected
to C.A.L.M. - the Campaign
Against Living Miserably, a North-West charitable organisation
aimed at dealing with depression amongst young men.
