Occasionally we pop up in the local or national
press or at special events. When we do we'll let you know about
it here. Readers of Liverpool's 'Daily
Post' newspaper will already know that Steve (our director)
is a member of their forum and his opinion is sought fairly regularly
for the Tuesday edition's weekly debate section.
JUNE 2007:
DEAN SULLIVAN'S 50th BIRTHDAY PARTY
Dean Sullivan, the actor who played Jimmy Corkhill in the
legendary Scouse soap Brookside, celebrated his 50th(ish) birthday at the Devonshire
Hotel on 7th June. Steve, along with 800 other
business people and celebrites, was invited for an evening of networking, entertainment
and hob-nobbing with the stars. |
OCTOBER 2006:
LIVERPOOL FOOD & DRINK FESTIVAL
It's that time of year again - the Liverpol Food & Drink
festival, organised by Ketchupp.com,
Liverpool's only local specialist online restaurant guide,
launched at the Radission SAS hotel, Old Hall Street, on the
23rd October. Steve Wooding was their at the first of a week-long
series of events.

SEPTEMBER 2006:
DOT-ART LAUNCH
Liverpool company dot-art,
online art gallery whose aim is to link local artists
and businesses, have opened a gallery in the Water Street
area of Liverpool. Steve Wooding, iceandlemon's director,
was there at this event on the 29th September.

APRIL 2006:
BNI ALPHA CHAPTER
Steve Wooding was asked to take the position of Chapter
Director of Business Network International's Alpha Chapter
(meeting in the Piazza Restaurant, near the Metropolitan Cathedral).
BNI is a business referral organisation with a unique take
on the idea of business networking - you can read more about
it here.
(Note - Alpha now meet in the Pan American Club, Albert
Dock, Liverpool at 6:45am every Tuesday morning) |
JANUARY
2006: 08BUSINESSCONNECT LAUNCH
iceandlemon were represented at the rather flash
launch of 08businessconnect
at St. Georges Hall in Liverpool on the 31st January. This
event was the official opening of this bridge between the
Liverpool Culture Company, organising the Capital of Culture
in 2008, and the local business community. You can see photos

DECEMBER
2005: ARTICLE IN LIVERPOOL DAILY POST
Steve was asked to write a short article for the Daily
Post which appeared on p2 of the business section
of the December 21st edition - "One size does not fit

OCTOBER 2005:
LIVERPOOL FOOD & DRINK FESTIVAL
Steve Wooding was out and about at the launch event
for the 3rd
Liverpool Food & Drink Festival at the Marriott
Hotel, Queen's Square, Liverpool. This is an annual Autumn
event organised by Ketchupp.com,
an online restaurant guide for Merseyside, and sponsored by
a mix of organisations and companies involved in the local
culinary landscape.

AUGUST 2005:
'YOUR MOVE' MAGAZINE
Steve (Director of iceandlemon) was seen in the August
27th issue of 'Your Move' Magazine at the launch of
the latest branch of Belvoir!

AUGUST
2005: 'WOMANS OWN' MAGAZINE
Steve and his wife were interviewed for the "I'm
Married to Mr Wonderful" article in the 15th August issue
of 'Woman's Own'.
The gist of the article focused on what it's like to be the
spouse of a celebrity hair stylist (Richard Ward), a gourmet
chef (Stephen Boucher), and a 'love doctor' (Steve Wooding). |
JUNE
2005: 'LIVERPOOL ECHO'
Steve Wooding was consulted by the Liverpool Echo
when they wanted to run a feature on dating and relationships.
This two-pager appeared in the 1st June edition, using Steve's
expertise and advice for making the most of your dating experiences
and how our own self-perceptions can 'leak' in the way we
behave around others. |
