We
strongly believe that everyone deserves to live a productive,
meaningful and joyful life. Because of this we're
committed to enabling our clients make the best use of who they
are, what they are capable of and how they interact with the world,
and to pushing back their own boundaries so they surprise themselves
again and again.
We use as our foundation two of the most powerful
personal and team development tools available - Neuro-Linguistic
Programming and the Myers-Briggs
Type Indicator.
We work from the basis of three Cs:
-
CHARACTER
who are you? what do you value in life? what do you believe?
does who you believe you are - who you're being - support your
goals in life?
-
CAPABILITY
what CAN you do? what are your skills and abilities, both
natural and learned?
how much are you making use of those skills and abilities now?
what can you LEARN to do that you don't already do?
-
CURIOSITY
just what COULD you do, if you really put your heart and mind
to it? how far could you go?
what do you dream of?
This approach works for individuals looking for routes to personal
growth and development AND for teams, groups or departments (or
even social or church groups) too - whoever you are, whatever you're
doing and wherever you're wanting to go, we can help you get there.
And if you're not sure where you want to go, what you want to do
or who you need to be, then we can definitely help!

This is covered most often in a coaching setting
on a one-to-one or small group basis, though sometimes
it is part of a larger training or consulting contract.
Some
of the indicators that you would benefit from
coaching are:
» |
a similar type of problem
or issue keeps cropping up in your life |
| » |
somthing has changed recently
and it's been less than easy to deal with |
| » |
you find yourself asking,
"Is this it?" or wondering if there's
something more fulfilling you could be doing
with your time |
» |
there's a key decision
you need to make but you're feeling stuck
or unsure as to what to do
|
» |
you'd like to be
able to improve certain skills or abilities
but despite knowing what to do you
just don't seem to be able to get there
|
» |
you have a persistent physical
problem that appears to have no medical
cause* |
» |
you've lost your motivation
at work (or outside) and are wondering how
to get it back |
|
 |
Coaching on a one-to-one basis may only require a few
sessions to deal with a particular issue. However, some
clients like to take on a 'life coach' for a set period
(often 6 months or a year) with whom they work on several
aspects of their life to make definite and sweeping
changes.

This is accomplished through a team event (on or
off site, though in our experience off-site works best)
run over 2 or 3 days depending on team size with follow-up
at 4 and 12 weeks.
Some
of the indicators that your team would benefit
from this are:
» |
more than 1/4 of your team
members or more than 5 people in your team
have changed (e.g. new recruits, change
in size, changes in roles) |
» |
your team has been
recently put together,
maybe for a specific task or project, or
a new department or group has been created
|
» |
you have a new team
manager
|
» |
you'd like to refresh your
team's energy and motivation with something
different |
» |
the people your team deals
with have changed (e.g. after a reorganisation,
changes in the market, a new senior management
team) |
|
Using NLP and MBTI teamworking tools
each member will gain a deeper appreciation of their
own personality and preferences and that of their colleagues/team-mates.
By working through a series of individual, group and
whole team activities the team will go from strength
to strength.
This kind of workshop is also great for formulating
a team approach to proposals, influencing, communication
strategies and other activities where the team has to
present a coherent message.

NOTE: Any advice we offer should in no way be taken as replacing
or superceding a diagnosis from a medical or psychiatric professional.
Despite empirical and research evidence that alternative and complimentary
therapies can be at least as effective as 'standard' treatments
in many cases, practitioners of such techniques are only legally
allowed to claim that they can 'alleviate symptoms'.]

"When the music changes, so must the dance."
[African
Proverb]
"All the problems and successes we have
in life stem from our model of the world, learned from the
moment we became aware of your environment (yes, even from
within the womb). As children, we construct this model, which
includes what we think are successful behaviours for avoiding
what we don't want or getting what we do want, on a moment
by moment basis from our experiences and observations. As
we grow those beliefs are built upon with more and more layers
of complexity, and we grow to become the person we are today.
Sometimes the beliefs & values we have
are positive and empowering, that is, they help us to succeed.
Often though, we carry around beliefs that are negative -
that either mean we don't look after ourselves correctly,
or those around us. These can be as simple as. "Only
old people die from smoking." (Which is actually false,
and can prevent a young person from trying to give up), or
as deep rooted as "I don't deserve to succeed" or
"I am a failure." Whatever your view of yourself
or the world around you, it can be changed permanently and
for the better."
